Yevgeny Prigozhin, who was in charge of a short-lived armed rebellion in Russia last month, is in Russia, says Alexander Lukashenko, the leader of Belarus who has been in power for a long time.
Since he was seen in southern Russia during the uprising, nobody knows where Prigozhin is.
As part of a deal to end the mutiny, Prigozhin’s charges were dropped and he was given permission to move to Belarus.
Mr. Lukashenko helped find a way for the mutiny to end.
