Teens can improve their physical and emotional health for free this summer by visiting Planet Fitness facilities.

Teens can use their summer vacation to visit any of Planet Fitness’ gyms to improve their physical and mental well-being – for free. No cap.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, the fitness center franchiser and operator, which operates 2,400 gyms in the United States and Canada, has introduced the third year of its High School Summer Pass program.

The annual event, billed as a means to keep high schoolers active during the summer in a “fun, safe, and judgment-free zone,” is open to teens ages 14 to 19.

Three months without a gym class? No worries. Exercise regimens targeted to their age group and routines with professional trainers are included in the summerlong freebie.

Teens want to make good, healthy lifestyle changes, according to a Wired Research survey commissioned by and for Planet Fitness: 75% of kids polled stated they are “ready and willing” to begin working out at the gym.

Planet Fitness is offering an incentive to individuals in need of some extra push. Through a TikTok video contest, ten program participants might earn $10,000 in individual academic scholarships. To be selected, they must submit an online video summarizing their High School Summer Pass experience.
