Roy Hodgson has agreed to continue as Crystal Palace manager next season.

The 75-year-old is now on vacation, but when he returns, he is anticipated to sign his contract for the upcoming season.

Hodgson returned to Selhurst Park in March, replacing Patrick Vieira on a season-long contract.

He helped Palace avoid relegation by gaining 18 points from his 10 games in charge and finishing 11th in the Premier League.

Hodgson joined Palace in 2017 and stayed for four years before retiring in the summer of 2021.

The former England manager was then appointed manager of Watford in January 2022, although he quit five months later after the club was relegated to the Championship.

Before Hodgson returned to his boyhood club, Palace had not won in 12 matches in all competitions under Vieira.

His managerial career has lasted more than 45 years, including stops at Inter Milan, Blackburn, Fulham, Liverpool, West Bromwich Albion, and Palace, as well as national teams in Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and Finland.
