Ion Izagirre wins stage 12 of the Tour de France with ease, while Jonas Vingegaard keeps the lead.

The 34-year-old Spaniard’s victory came 11 days after the Cofidis team’s Victor Lafay won the team’s first stage in 15 years.

In a sprint for second place, Mathieu Burgaudeau defeated Matteo Jorgenson.

Jonas Vingegaard kept his 17-second lead in the battle for the yellow jersey of overall leader.
