Since the release of the current edition of the smartphone in September, several users have complained that the smartphones are becoming too hot to touch.

Apple stated that there was an issue when updating the phone to iOS 17.

However, it also stated that updates to third-party programs are “overloading the system.”

Due to the amount of processing power being consumed and the handset working hard, iPhone customers have grown to expect their smartphones to become hotter during initial setup or backup – but these concerns with the iPhone 15 have been worse.

Users flocked to social media to complain about how hot the new phones were.

According to Apple, the iPhone may feel warmer in the first few days “after setting up or restoring the device because of increased background activity.”

The business stated: “We have identified a few conditions which can cause iPhones to run warmer than expected.”

This contains a flaw in iOS 17, the most recent version of Apple’s software available for its most recent devices.

“Another issue involves some recent updates to third-party apps that are causing them to overload the system,” it said, adding that it is working with app developers on remedies that are being handed out.

According to Apple, the apps responsible for the issue include Instagram, Uber, and the video game Asphalt 9.

Instagram corrected the problem with its app last week.

To address the iPhone’s temperature, the impending iOS 17 bug update will not affect performance.

Apple emphasized that the hot phones are unrelated to the new titanium housing that houses the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max rather than the stainless steel used on prior smartphones.
