Seven-try In the World Rugby Under-20 Championship final in Cape Town, France defeated Ireland 50-14 thanks to a devastating second half effort.

Fintan Gunne and John Devine scored tries to give Ireland leads of 7-0 and 14-10, respectively, but Mathis Ferte and Marko Gazzotti touchdowns gave the French a 17-14 lead at the break.

Following the break, Pierre Jouvin, Nicolas Depoortere, Ferte, Lenni Nouchi, and Leo Drouet crossed, showing off some serious French style.

Fly-half Hugo Reus kicked six conversions and a penalty for the victorious team as he maintained his excellent tournament form.
