Ange Postecoglou: Tottenham and Celtic’s manager agree on a new management arrangement

Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Celtic, has decided to accept a two-year contract to lead Tottenham.

The 57-year-old Australian just completed Celtic’s domestic triple and their second Scottish championship under his leadership.

Since Antonio Conte’s departure in March, Cristian Stellini and then Ryan Mason have served as interim managers for Tottenham.

Before making an announcement, the last few details of the agreement are being worked out.

Athens-born Prior to joining Celtic in 2021, Postecoglou had only managed the Greek lower division team Panachaiki for a brief period in 2008.

With South Melbourne and Brisbane Roar, he won the Australian championship. With Yokohama F Marinos, he won the Japanese top division. He also guided the Australian national team to victory in the 2015 Asian Cup.

For the first time since 2009–10, Postecoglou takes over a Tottenham team that finished seventh in the Premier League.
