Arsenal vs. Manchester United: A man has been arrested after Roy Keane was allegedly assaulted during the Premier League match at Emirates Stadium.

After an alleged incident during Arsenal’s 3-1 win against Manchester United on Sunday, a 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

It comes after social media footage surfaced of Sky Sports pundits Micah Richards and Roy Keane engaging in a fight with a person.

The accused victim of the incident was reportedly ex-United captain Keane.

According to Sky Sports, Richards was “acting to defuse a situation.”

“Police are investigating an incident at Emirates Stadium on Sunday, 3 September, during which a man was assaulted,” said the Metropolitan Police.

“A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault (ABH) on Monday, September 4th.” The individual has been arrested by police. “Enquiries are still ongoing.”

“We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media,” a Sky Sports representative stated. Micah Richards was seen acting to diffuse a confrontation in the film.”

Richards, a former Manchester City and England defender, and Keane, a former Republic of Ireland international, were working on Sky Sports’ coverage of the Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium.
