The Detroit Lions, who won their division for the first time in over 30 years, are joining Miami in the playoffs, as are the Cleveland Browns, who are close there following an excellent win over the Houston Texans.

The Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers won in dramatic late finishes to keep their playoff aspirations alive, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are one of the league’s form teams after winning four straight.

And, in an unexpectedly interesting game in Denver, the New England Patriots ended the Broncos’ playoff aspirations with a last-gasp field goal, giving Bill Belichick’s team a 26-23 victory – the six-time Super Bowl champions’ fourth win of the season.
