Al-Hilal fans greeted new signing Neymar at his official unveiling.

Fireworks lit up the night sky at Riyadh’s King Fahd International Stadium as the 31-year-old made his debut in Al-Hilal’s blue outfit.

A drone display spelt out “Neymar is blue” above the 68,000-person capacity amphitheater.

Neymar joined the Saudi Pro League club from Paris St-Germain on Tuesday in a move valued approximately £77.6 million (90 million euros).

The move continues Saudi clubs’ spectacular summer buying binge. Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, Jordan Henderson, Ruben Neves, Sadio Mane, and Roberto Firmino have all relocated to Saudi Arabia, while Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese superstar, joined Al-Nassr from Manchester United earlier this year.

On Thursday, Neymar is scheduled to make his Al-Hilal debut against Al-Raed.
