Declan Rice: West Ham will not communicate with other clubs till the season is ended.

West Ham will not discuss the future of midfielder Declan Rice with other teams until the season is over.

On Friday, Hammers manager David Moyes stated that Rice had “a good chance” of leaving the club this summer.

Rice, 24, has rebuffed all attempts to persuade him to sign an extension despite interest from practically every club in England.

His contract would be extended to 2025 if the option for an additional season on his present contract was exercised.

West Ham, who are not mathematically safe from relegation, want to avoid distractions and have put talks about the midfielder’s future on hold.

Away from the Premier League, David Moyes’ squad is getting closer to winning the Europa Conference League for the first time since 1980.

After the first leg of the semi-final, they lead AZ Alkmaar 2-1, with the second game scheduled for Thursday.
