Disney is going to purchase the final 33% of the streaming service. Hulu!

The business announced on Wednesday that it would buy the remaining 33% from media behemoth Comcast.

Disney would then have complete control over the streaming service and be able to integrate it with its own Disney+ network.

Disney and other streamers have been engaged in combat as earnings have decreased.

It will probably cost Disney $8.6 billion (£7 billion) to complete its takeover of Hulu, the company said in a statement.

However, it added that in an effort to increase subscriber counts, the action would “further Disney’s streaming objectives”.

The massive entertainment company already offers Hulu in bundles with its ESPN+ andDisney+ platforms in the US.
