England plays West Indies, and Phil Salt scores a stunning hundred. The foreigners win the third T20.

Salt got his first T20 international hundred off of 51 balls and finished the game unbeaten on 109. Harry Brook hit the 21 runs needed off the last over to help England beat the score of 223 with one ball to spare.

Nicholas Pooran scored 82 off of 45 balls, which helped West Indies get to 222-6. Adil Rashid took 2-32 to finish off England’s best attack.

They are behind 2-1 in the five-match series, but they still have two games to play.

Salt and Jos Buttler both scored fifty as they put on 115 for the first wicket, which gave England hope. Salt kept hitting hard after his captain was out for 51, hitting nine sixes and four fours.

England needed 31 runs in the last two overs to win, but Alzarri Joseph kept his cool and gave up only 10 runs in the next-to-last over, giving the home team the lead.

But Brook, who was on seven runs after two balls going into the last over, hit a four and two sixes off of Andre Russell’s first three balls, putting England close to winning.

After that, he and Salt ran two before Brook hit Russell’s wide ball, which went over the fence at deep third.

On Tuesday, the fourth T20 is in Trinidad.
