Harry Kane: Bayern Munich wants Tottenham to make a choice on the England striker by the end of Friday.

According to Bild, the German champions have made at least one bid for Kane, with whom they have previously agreed terms.

The deadline indicates that Bayern is becoming dissatisfied with the existing scenario, though it is unclear whether they would subsequently walk away from any arrangement if it was not fulfilled.

Tottenham has declined to respond.

Kane, 30, is the Spurs’ all-time leading scorer, but he only has one year left on his deal.

There has been no indication that Kane would be ready to extend his contract, so if Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy decides to keep the England striker, it will effectively be the club’s last opportunity to cash in on their talisman.

Bayern officials met with Levy earlier this week but did not reach an agreement.

Tottenham will kick off their Premier League campaign against Brentford on August 13. Bayern began their season the day before with a German Super Cup match against RB Leipzig.

The transfer window does not end until September 1st, although it is believed that all parties would prefer a resolution before the start of the new season.
