Ireland: Munster hooker Diarmuid Barron has been called up for the trip to France, while the injured trio remains in Dublin.

According to the IRFU, uncapped Barron traveled to Biarritz with the panel on Sunday and practiced at the Stade Jean Dauger Bayonne on Monday morning.

The wounded trio of Jack Conan, David Kilcoyne, and Dan Sheehan, on the other hand, did not make the journey.

They stayed in Dublin to pursue their recovery programs.

Earls has a strong ambition to attend the World Cup.
What did Ireland’s victory against England teach us?
Sheehan, a Leinster hooker, left the game with a foot injury during Ireland’s win against England at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, with head coach Andy Farrell remarking afterwards that he has his “fingers crossed” that it is not a major injury.

Back-rower Conan has not participated in full team training since injured his foot against Italy over two weeks ago, and prop Kilcoyne missed training last week.

In the run-up to the win against England, Farrell stated that both players would be ready for selection for the World Cup.

After defeating Italy and England, Ireland will play Samoa in their final pre-World Cup warm-up game in France on Saturday, with Farrell due to reveal his final tournament team a few days later.

Farrell released Kieran Treadwell, Caolin Blade, Gavin Coombes, Calvin Nash, and Jamie Osborne last week.
