Kourtney Kardashian admits that foetal surgery’saved the life’ of an unborn child.

The 44-year-old reality star claims she was taken into “urgent foetal surgery,” which involves surgeons operating on babies while they are still in the womb.

“As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear,” she explained.

Travis Barker, her husband, returned home from a tour with his band Blink-182 last week due to a “urgent family matter.”

Blink-182 postpones gigs due to a “family matter.”
He did not provide further information at the time, but has since posted: “I flew home for a life-threatening emergency surgery for our baby that I’m so grateful went well.” I’d want to express my gratitude for all of your help.”

The nature of the baby boy’s surgery has not been revealed by the couple.

‘The greatest blessing’
Kourtney posted on Instagram, “I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life.”

“I will be eternally grateful to my husband, my rock, who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and care for me afterwards.”

“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this.”

“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” she continued.

“I have a whole new appreciation and respect for mothers who have had to fight for their children while pregnant.”

“All praise to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby son safely in my tummy was the greatest blessing.”

With Scott Disick, she has three children ages eight, eleven, and thirteen.

She has previously discussed her inability to conceive with Barker, 47.

However, in June, she posted an Instagram video of herself holding a banner at a Blink-182 performance that read, “Travis, I’m pregnant.”
