Mbappe’s double puts PSG on the verge of winning the league.

Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of a record 11th Ligue 1 title, thanks to a double from Kylian Mbappe on Sunday.

PSG are six points ahead of second-placed Lens, who also have a lower goal difference, and need just one point from their final two games to secure the title.

Mbappe scored twice in the first eight minutes for the visitors.

Auxerre, who are still in relegation trouble, got a response from Lassine Sinayoko.

PSG will seal the title if they avoid loss against Racing Strasbourg next Saturday, according to Christophe Galtier.

Mbappe, 24, has 40 goals and nine assists in 41 games this season, including 33 goal assists in 32 Ligue 1 games.

The France international twisted and turned in the box to make room for the opener before bending in a magnificent first-time shot two minutes later.

PSG, which has won eight of the last ten Ligue 1 titles, tied Marseille and Saint-Etienne for the most French titles last season.
