NBA Playoffs: Devin Booker leads the Phoenix Suns’ comeback against the Los Angeles Clippers to tie the series.

Devin Booker led the Phoenix Suns to a 123-109 victory against the Los Angeles Clippers in the second home game of their playoff series.

Booker had 38 points and nine assists to help the Suns come back from a 13-point deficit in the second quarter to knot the best-of-seven series 1-1.

“It’s the play-offs, it’s win at all costs,” Booker said ahead of Thursday’s third match in the Western Conference.

“We got one and are now on our way to Los Angeles.”

The Suns, who finished fourth in the regular season, one spot ahead of the Clippers, opened with a disheartening 115-110 loss in front of their home supporters.

They appeared to be on track for a second damaging loss in Phoenix as Kawhi Leonard propelled the Clippers to a 49-36 lead. Leonard finished with 31 points, eight rebounds, seven assists, and three steals.

The Kings defeated the Warriors, taking a two-game lead in the playoffs.

However, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and Booker ignited the Suns with a scoring run to tie the game at halftime.

Booker scored 18 points in the third quarter as the Suns regained control, while Durant finished with 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists, and Paul scored 16 points to help close out the game after the Clippers had gotten to within six points late in the fourth.

“It’s difficult. “You always want to protect home court [when you start with two home games], but they came out and started the game really well, and we were fighting an uphill battle for the rest of the game,” Booker continued.

“But it doesn’t matter what the stats show, or what happened in the previous two games; you have to move on to the next one – it’s a new assignment for us now.”
