Officials say a drone hit a Moscow building and two drones were shot down.

According to Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, a drone struck a building under construction in central Moscow.

According to the defense ministry, air defenses also shot down two drones in the Moscow region’s Mozhaisk and Khimki districts.

There have been no reports of casualties, and it is unclear who launched the attack.

It was termed as “another attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack” by Russian officials.

Ukraine normally does not comment on who is behind strikes on Russian territory.

All flights to and from Moscow’s airports were banned early Wednesday, a step that has been implemented several times in recent days.

According to the AFP news agency, it was the sixth night of aircraft attacks on Russia’s capital region.

The drone that struck the building under construction at the Moscow City complex was “suppressed by electronic warfare,” according to the defence ministry. It lost control and collided with the building, according to the report.

In reaction to allegations of downed drones, the US State Department stated that the US does not support drone attacks in Russia.
