Paul Cattermole’s death has left S Club 7’s Jo O’Meara heartbroken.
Jo O’Meara of S Club 7 has stated that she is “utterly devastated” by the death of her bandmate Paul Cattermole.
The 46-year-old man was discovered dead at his Dorset home on Thursday.
O’Meara expressed her shock and heartbreak after seeing a photo of Cattermole on Instagram.
“I just wanted to reach out and thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for the love and kindness you have shown over the tragic passing of our sweetest soul Paul,” the singer wrote.
She went on to say: “We have lost someone who was extremely important to all of us, and the sadness is palpable.
“Paul will always be a huge part of our lives, and I will cherish the memories we made!
“Paul, I will always love you, God bless you, and rest in peace. I adore JoJo.”
The cause of death has not been determined, but police have stated that there were “no suspicious circumstances.”
Cattermole’s death occurred just two months after S Club 7 announced a 25th anniversary reunion tour that would begin in October and include all seven members.
It is unknown whether the tour will continue without Cattermole.
