Tens of thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators have gathered for rallies calling for an end to Israel’s attacks in Gaza in London and other UK cities.

Thousands of people called for an end to the bombing in Gaza, and more than 1,000 Metropolitan Police officers were sent across London to enforce their demands.

Similar protests were held in Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, and other UK cities.

It comes after Hamas and Israel have recently seen a rise in hostilities.

Three weeks following Hamas’ cross-border attack, which claimed 1,400 lives and resulted in the kidnapping of 229 people as hostages, protests are taking place as Israel increases the scope of its strikes.
