Argentina captain Lionel Messi will make his first appearance for Paris Saint-Germain since his suspension.

Lionel Messi will make his first appearance for Paris Saint-Germain since an unscheduled vacation to Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

The club initially punished the Argentina captain for two weeks for the trip, which came after PSG’s home defeat by Lorient on April 30.

On Saturday, the Ligue 1 leaders play AC Ajaccio, who have lost three of their last four home games.

“He [Messi] will start tomorrow,” claimed PSG manager Christophe Galtier.

“I spoke with him on Tuesday to see what his mindset was and found him to be very determined to play.”

Messi, who serves as a tourist ambassador for Saudi Arabia, apologized to his teammates on Friday for the illegal trip.

The 35-year-old returned to training on Monday after being left out of the squad for the previous day’s 3-1 triumph over Troyes.

“He’s very eager to win that title,” Galtier continued.

“With him on the team, we’ll have to change our approach from what we did against Troyes.” Leo is just Leo. I won’t get into statistics, but when he’s with us, we have to establish a different balance.”

Messi’s contract with PSG is set to expire in the summer.
