Ace Impact wins Europe’s biggest race, the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

In the latter stages, the 5-2 favorite blew past Westover, who was ridden by Rob Hornby, to win Europe’s richest race.

Maxime Guyon’s Onesto finished third.

“Three years ago, I won with Sottsass, which was incredible because I started in Pau a long time ago.” “Two Arcs in four years is fantastic,” Rouget added.

Ace Impact, who has been unbeaten in five prior outings for Rouget, got worked up in the paddock and remained near the back of the field early on.

After settling into the race, he unleashed an electric run in the final stages to win the Paris Longchamp race for more than £2.3 million.

Frankie Dettori, a six-time winner in Paris, finished 13th riding Free Wind in his 34th and penultimate race before retiring later this year.

“I’m bowing out with a smile on my face,” Dettori remarked.

“It’s been fantastic, six wins.” What else can you say? I’ve rode some great champions, and riding it 34 times is an all-time record.”
