Ever wonder what kind of difficulties a blind person could encounter when having sex? or how they initially go about finding a partner?

In order to dispel misconceptions and shatter social norms, actress Mared Jarman wants to talk to you about disabled people and sex.

Mared, who has a degenerative eye disease, stated, “People don’t want to think of disabled people as sexual beings with sexual desires, wants, and needs.”

“The reality is that disabled people are just as sexual as anyone else.”

When Mared was fourteen years old, she was diagnosed with Stargardt disease at the age of ten. A week later, she lost nearly eighty percent of her vision in her right eye.

She can see better now, but her right eye is nearly blind.
