Man City grabs a point at Real Madrid thanks to De Bruyne’s stunning goal.

Manchester City earned a first-leg draw in the Champions League semi-finals against Real Madrid thanks to Kevin de Bruyne’s screamer.

City knows that a win over Real Madrid at home next Wednesday will bring them to their second Champions League final, against either Inter Milan or AC Milan.

Thibaut Courtois twice denied De Bruyne, Rodri, and Erling Haaland as Pep Guardiola’s side dominated the early minutes at a nervous Bernabeu.

However, Vinicius Jr scored Real’s sole goal of the first half with a 25-yard thunderbolt that soared past Ederson after a fantastic run by Eduardo Camavinga.

De Bruyne fizzed a strike from a similar distance into the bottom corner just as Real began to dominate a portion of the second half.

With another strike from range, Aurelien Tchouameni almost gave Real, trying to extend their record total to 15 European crowns, the lead again, but Ederson saved it superbly.

City is presently unbeaten in 21 games in all competitions, with 17 victories. They’ll get the Treble with seven more victories.
