Marcus Smith starts at full-back for England against Chile in the Rugby World Cup, while Owen Farrell returns.

Smith impressed after coming off the bench in previous weeks, notably the Pool D victory over Japan.

Following a four-match ban, Farrell makes his debut at France 2023. As a replacement, George Ford is named.

Ollie Lawrence, Henry Arundell, and Max Malins join the pack, as do Billy Vunipola and Jack Willis.

Lawrence, who was voted Premiership player of the year in May after scoring five tries in 12 games for Bath, is teamed in midfield with Elliot Daly, one of just three players retained from the team that defeated Japan.

Wings Arundell and Malins will make their Rugby World Cup debuts, while prop Bevan Rodd and second row David Ribbans will also make their debuts.

Hooker For the first time this season, Theo Dan, George Martin in the second row, and Danny Care in the scrum all make their debuts.
