Real Madrid has completed the acquisition of England midfielder Jude Bellingham on a six-year contract.

Real Madrid has finalised the six-year contract signing of England midfielder Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

The Spanish giants will pay 103 million euros (£88.5 million) for the 19-year-old, with several potential add-ons.

If such add-ons are met, the acquisition may be worth 133.9 million euros (£115 million).

Bellingham, who began his career with Birmingham City, will be officially introduced as a Real Madrid player on Thursday.

“Thank you to everyone at BVB [Dortmund] and to the fans for everything you’ve done over the past three years,” Bellingham added.

“It’s been an honor to wear your jersey in so many big and small moments.”

“Although I eagerly await my next destination, I will never forget the journey there.” A Borusse is always a Borusse. Best wishes for the future.”

Bellingham, one of England’s standout performances at last year’s World Cup, was voted Bundesliga player of the season as Dortmund almost missed out on their first league title in 11 years on the last day.

He is now the second-most expensive English footballer behind Jack Grealish, for whom Manchester City paid Aston Villa £100 million in 2021.
