The addition of Jon Rahm to LIV would be a’massive coup’ for the Saudi-funded tour.

Specifically, the likelihood of Spain’s Jon Rahm joining the Greg Norman-led circuit. It is challenging the brains of his teammates, administrators, and fans around the world.

This would be a huge win for LIV, probably their biggest to far. Yes, they enticed reigning Open winner Cam Smith to join in August of last year, but Rahm appears to be a larger deal.

The current Masters winner and Ryder Cup hero. He is someone who has often sworn his “fealty” to the PGA Tour in order to quell initial suspicion that he may follow in the footsteps of close confidant Phil Mickelson and fellow major winners Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Bryson DeChambeau.

Rahm has always been a staunch supporter of golf’s history, appearing to want to establish his own legacy within the same confines that launched the careers of the game’s greatest stars.
