Lauren Price improved her professional record to 5-0 with a technical sixth-round knockout of Lolita Muzeya in Manchester.

Muzeya and the Welsh fighter collided, resulting in a serious gash over the Zambian’s left eye.

Attempts to stop the bleeding failed, and Price won with a score of 60-54 on referee Steve Gray’s scorecard.

Price wants to fight England’s WBO light-middleweight champion Natasha Jonas in a “homecoming” fight.

The Price-Muzeya bout took place at Manchester Arena on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr vs Liam Smith.
